Hello everybody,

Today I received a "Everlast Wrist Strengthener" for my birthday and I was wondering if anybody had any experience with it?

I don't have a powerball and I use the Wrist Strengthener along paul's arm-chair exercizes so strengthen my wrist. So far, I feel like I can generate more power with my wrist, but I think it's too soon to say.

So, does anybody else have any experience with the Everlast Wrist Strengthener?

With kind regards,

Kerghan

I don't have any experience with it, but it looks to me like it might not be exercising the right muscles.

In badminton, power comes from pronation of the forearm, whereas that wrist strengthener looks like it's for wrist flexion/extension. I'm sure you do use those muscles as well, but I don't think they're the main ones, so you might not see a massive improvement in smashing power, etc.

I see.

Nevertheless I think that strengthening some wrist muscles are better than none. I do indeed feel that I strengthen other muscles than I usually do when doing Paul's wrist exercise but that's ok.

Thanks for your reply!
