Another option would be to order myself a G4 instead of a G5 in the shop…. Or would this change the balance of the racket?

I don't think it does matter really because I suppose the racquets are balanced according to the grip size, and even if it does change the balance a little, I'm sure you won't notice it…

Most smaller grips tend to give you more wrist pain. I prefer using a thin grip with head light rackets, and thicker grips with head heavy rackets. Don't know if that helps, give it a shot.

I don't know about wristpain, but I got serious shoulder pains after using the voltric70 for the first time because I was gripping my racket too firmly/tighly. So I don't know if it would help you, but you might want to try relaxing a little bit before playing and pay attention to the tention on your wrist.

Just to keep you guys informed: I've chosen the Arc Saber 7. Wink

I've tested both rackets seperately to see which racket caused the wrist problems, but strangely enough didn't have pain on both occasions. Maybe it was just the constant switched which caused the pain last time. Anyway, I think the Arc Saber 7 will suit me better & will do the job for me!

Thanks for the advice guys! Much appreciated! Smile

Yes, small grips can cause numerous injuries.
Tennis elbow is the most common caused by increased tension down the forearm.
Wrist pain. This is caused by a change in technique resulting from sub-conscious changes. I suppose what happens is the player is concerned they will let go of the racquet and therefore reduce arm swing and introduce more wrist action.
Shoulder injury. Similar to wrist pain. The player reduces arm swing and throws their shoulder into the shot.
Whilst grip size is very personal, you do need to be careful and listen to your body if you're suffering from any aches and strains.
