I need some suggestion or review regarding this RSL Laser 9900. The pros and cons with specs of the racket. FYI, i like head-heavy racket, more offensive-aggresive play, but no idea which RSL would fit my preference.

I've haven't seen an RSL racquet in over 15 years. Sorry, I can't help with this one but hopefully other forum members will know more about the racquet.

I'd buy the Laser 800 purely for the imitation-wood graphics :)

EDIT: Sorry, just saw this was a really old thread.

Doesn't matter how old the post is, that's the beauty of this forum. You can restart a thread at any time, it will always be interesting. More posts the better I say! Cool

I've tested a few RSL racquets in my time, but to be honest, it's so long ago I haven't a clue what they were.

RSL has a very weak presence in UK. Sadly their once "best in the world" shuttles are no longer the quality of yesteryear. Once manufacture moved to China they just weren't the same.

RSL has disappointingly kept a low profile and not made any significant inroads into UK market for racquets. From memory there was talk of a merger with the likes of Browning at one time but I don't know if this ever happened.

I agree with Peter, the beauty of the forum is that you can bring an old thread to life at any time if it's important to you. There's so much good information on the forum now that the old topics are almost achived and you really need to dig to find the numerous gems of information in there. Priceless.

Looks like they're mainly just an OEM shuttlecock manufacturer for other brands – rackets are just a little sideline for them.

Still, I really want this racket:

I love the graphics, and tapered shafts are one bit of technology that I know really do work :)
