Question about badminton scoring for singles or doubles. When i serve and during the rally, i hit the shuttercock out of my opponent’s boundary line (fault), will my opponent get a point? I know that my opponent will get to serve next.

When I serve and during the rally, my opponent hit the shuttercock within my area(not a fault), will my opponent get a point?

This is rally point scoring, and is the current correct scoring system.

A paint is scored at the end of every rally by the victor of it, regardless of who’s serving.

If you hit the shuttle out, they win a point, and the next serve.

If you serve and and lose the rally, they win the serve and a point.

If they serve and you win the rally, you win a point and the next serve.
