Hi Shrikant

A warm welcome to the forum. I'm sure the other forum members would love to hear about badminton in India. How easy is it to find courts, what are the clubs like and what do people think of your national squad. Also to other members it would be great to give the forum a more international flavour.

Hi,

Thanks for adding me to the forum.

In India Badminton has just started getting attention (thanks to Gopichand, Saina Nehwal, P Kashyap and Anand Pawar), but now as Indian Badminton League is going to start very soon, Indian players will get opportunity to prove their talent. For me its easy to play on good court as I study at good University where these facilities are available Smile. In general in Big cities like Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bangaluru good coaching/clubs are available but its difficult to find a club in rural area of India where all the sports are treated secondary.
