I was coached by Paul from the age of about 11 up until about 16, this would have been from 1989-1995.A long time ago i'm afraid.
My first sessions with him were just me and a friend who was of a similar level. He continued to coach us up to county level.
The sessions with Paul were very well planned, always interesting, and above all very enjoyable.
Having been coached by some vey good coaches for different teams or clubs at that time, i would say Paul is as good if not better than any. Not only did i always used to look forward to the sessions, but my game improved greatly at the same time.
I would highly recommend Paul to anybody who wants to improve for whatever reason be it competitive or just to enjoy the game more. He has a great background knowledge of the game, but just as importantly, he can adapt sessions to different levels and is on top of that a really good guy who knows how to have fun and will listen to anything you have to say.

I was at Pauls very 1st course and the next 2 after that. At each 1 he improved upon the coachin material and added in more coaches to help with learning.

I really enjoyed the whole experience. I learned a lot of stuff in which I would recommend any1 to bring a pen and pad to write down the things they have to change cause u will literally have so much!! :) I def improved as a player and I will def be back again real soon.

If you like badminton, you will love this training! Even at highly advance level you can still learn a thing or two. And I'm an intermediate club player who had some coaching but never trained in my youth which I regret. I have learned a lot! This course does not replace high frequency coaching. If you have it great, but this weekend enhances what you already know. It's a weekend packed full of technique from 4 exceptional coaches. You cannot help but learn from these experts. But be warned though, you will work hard for this weekend. And if you're a lame feeder, you will be noticed! Last but not least, value for money. It may sound expensive at first but the quality of coaching outweighs the time and money you invest for this weekend.

Thanks to all the coaches who were patient, knowledgeable and encouraging - I have learned lots of new skills to take away, put into practice and I am looking forward to improving my game! Shots and stance were broken down, clearly explained and made easier by these dedicated coaches. Be prepared to work to your limit and far beyond as you get carried away by the energy!!

I thought it was brilliant. I feel that because Angie & Paul, with the other coaches bring so much warmth from their hearts – that is truly giving – it makes the participants feel exactly the same. Sometimes, it felt like a real loving family atmosphere with everyone looking out for each other – and this is very rare to find these days. For me, the ambience does not happen by accident – it is created by both you guys, and your team of coaches. Well done

Thoroughly enjoyable experience, packed with information delivered by passionate coaches who genuinely want you to improve and do not stop encouraging and supporting you throughout the weekend. One coach for 4 players is unheard of on any other badminton course I have come across. I will definitely come back! THANKS TO ALL!

I've been on all of these coaching weekends run by Paul & his team and i can say with absolute confidence that i've gained something from each weekend. They are well structured, tailored to the individual, fantastic value and there is an amazing ratio of players to coaches, usually 1:4! Oh and the food there is great!
Paul has identified a number of things that i've worked on and each time i go back i think there won't be anything new, yet each time Paul has a surprise up his sleeve!
