I’ve noticed a lot of grey coloured shuttles on sale. Is this just a new fad? Presumably the darker colour aids visibility (?).

Also, can anyone recommend any feather shuttles for around £15 (or less) per dozen? There are several obscure brands available online (Regail, DHS-Sports, Jilahua) but has anyone tried any and found them to be ok?

Hi Dee.
Can’t help on “grey” shuttles.
Just ordered a couple of tubes of Victor Champion No1 77 at just under £12 a tube including post for my coaching sessions. I’ll test them with some games from county players over the next couple of weeks and let you know how they play.

I have been testing the Champion number 1 shuttle and so far I am happy with the quality.

I haven’t seen any grey shuttles. What make are they?

Sadly, shuttle prices have just increased by over £1 per tube. It would seem that foreign exchange rates are the main factor. Nobody said badminton was a cheap game! It won’t stop me buying Gold Champion shuttles which I believe are superior to Aerosensa 30 and very close to Aerosensa 40.
