Hi Everyone,

Greetings from India, writing here for the first time, i hope i get the required results. That being said, i have planned on buying Carbonex 21sp, and im not sure as to which strings i should be using, i do know the BG65 is durable and a complete all rounder, but , do i have any other option? I’ve heard the BG80power is also a decent. Coming to tension, i have always played with 24lbs, im an attacking player who usually plays doubles. Does Cab21sp need any different tension? some say to keep it only 22, but im not sure that’s a good idea.

Please enlighten me.

Regards,
Anish

Cab 21 hasn’t been available in the UK for so many years. It’s a great racket and one of my all-time favourites.

What I suggest is that you continue with your current tension but try different strings. BG80 is a lot harder string that BG65. You may find you prefer the string but not at 24lbs tension. So find the string and then test the tension.

Thank you Paul, I think i’ll go with the same tension and test it out with BG65 at first. Smile

Anish
