Hey guys,

Anyone tried this racket out? I’d love to know what you guys feel about it.

In short, this feels like an even balance racket to me. Considering it is even balance, it has good smash power and clears and blocks. It is also stiff but not unmanageable like the VTZF. I am actually not too sure smashes-they’re so steep that it just walks straight in the net. Maybe it is my problem since I have to adjust. Another issue is the net shots are ridiculously high.

Hi Alex

Nanoray 900 is not headlight. I’ve recorded a very quick video on my iphone to compare NR900 to NS9900. Basically they are identical frames except NR900 is not headlight. It is more even balance/slight head heavy.

I’ll be testing the racket shortly and look forward to writing a review.

Yonex are losing their way. Why didn’t they call this racket an Arcsaber? Clearly there is a change at Yonex. Rather than have three distinct ranges, there appears to be less distinction between each range with overlaps emerging. Is this good or bad…only time will tell.

Paul
