Sorry to hear that you are having so many problems with the contact lenses. Sounds like the prescription isn't quite right. There might be a bit of an issue if you need bi-focals but otherwise I would be surprised if there are too many problems. Good luck I hope they will work out for you.

Cybershuttle

I gave up on contact lenses after I was told the prescription  was correct. So I don't understand how this is correct otherwise I would expect my vision to be good. The fact that everything was blurred with lenses compared to using nothing just isn't right.

What I have noticed is that due to one reason or another I figured out that my defence base had moved back a little and this was causing me to miss-time shots. Moving forwards a pace suddenly changed everything.

Hi Paul,

I am probably about the same age as you and I also thought it might be time to have my eyes tested (last test at 16) and the optician recommended lenses. I did the same thing tried two different types with walks in-between, found my vision to be burred and the lenses just didn't feel right.

Went back in to the optician to find out that the sight in my right eye was actually too good to use with weakest lens they make and that's why the wouldn't work very well.

I will just have to try and play in halls with better lighting from now on.
