Hi, I'm Simon from North London.

Absolutely love this site, great to know there are people willing to help without trying to squeeze a few quid out of it.

I play 3 or 4 times a week but not sure what standard I am, I guess it's all relative to who you compare yourself to.

I'm 40 years old and came back to badminton after 20 years of football and rugby about 3 years ago. (sick of chasing quicker and fitter 18 year olds around the pitch)

I have a million and one questions but I'll trawl thru the site before risking repeating something already here.

Nice to meet you all

Simon

Hi Simon, welcome aboard,

This site has been a huge benefit to me,  Paul's articles are very clever in the areas/aspects of the sport they attempt address,  I'd recommend going through them all and giving them a good read.

speak soon m8 !

Hi Simon

Glad to welcome you along to the forum. Keep up your posts. It's always good to read a different perspective on this game especially from a sportsman who's played another sport.

Sometimes it's easy to make reference to another sport to help players learn more. Can't say I know of any for rugby players yet although I'm sure I'll think of something in time.

Paul
