Hi everyone,

I’m Dennis from Switzerland. I’m 25 and started playing again last year after a 10 year break. In January I joined a local club and immediately found out that I’m not nearly as good as I thought I was 🙂

I now play two to three times a week for 2.5 hours each, mostly doubles (with which I’m having some trouble, since I used to only play singles as a junior).

I’m much enjoying your reviews and training tips Paul. Thank you for putting up this website!

Hi Dennis

Welcome to the forum.

I know what it’s like having a 10 year break from badminton. Trying to get your form and shots back takes a little time. The good thing is that you’ve forgotten most of the bad habits so hopefully you’ll quickly replace them with good habits!

If you’re having problems with doubles, please post your questions or comments on the forum and then we can all help you solve these problems. That’s what the forum is for.

Paul
