I've recently run into a speed bump with my backhand. I'm cleaning up my footwork, but I can't get the pieces to fall back into place. I can't seem to get the shot visualized in my head. I spend time on youtube looking for technical backhand inspiration, but I'm not sure who is a 'technician' or who is just a backhand 'freak'. I would prefer to watch a left handed 'technician', any recommendations?

Give me more detail and I'll recommend a video for you.
When I began putting together my online video program, I recorded a section on backhand. Sadly, I cannot give you this video as I promised that it would not be available on the web except as part of my online program. I put the program on hold due to low sales and the feedback being there was too much content. Many players said i was releasing a video before they have completed the tasks on the previous video.

I'm having issues from the baseline. Something has changed and all of a sudden the only backhands I can play are down the line (drops and clears). My clears are way to high and my drops are slow and loopy. I can't seem to pull anything back across the net (ie, center net, or cross drop, cross clear).
My technique just feels out of wack. I'm almost certain that I'm over thinking things, and I think that watching someone do it properly would get my mind out of it and I can just play the shot. Could be a professional, could be an instructional video.

Whilst I usually sit back and wait for more information to appear, my guts are telling me to respond here with a few comments.
The fact that the shuttles flight has changed and you are now struggling to hit cross court shots suggests that you are taking the shuttle later and therefore the shuttle has travelled much further behind you. Would this sound reasonable?
I've no idea what has caused this change however, the fact that this is most likely to be the reason for your question I'm sure you'll figure out what may have happened. Let me know and then we'll discuss how you fix it.
