So, big update!

I have mostly cured my constant slicing after putting serious effort into making myself move about properly. I am also working on my fitness, which I think is starting to pay off.

So, to cut a long story short, last night I had after many times of trying in the singles, level doubles handicapped, mixed doubles and now finally and successfully level doubles no handicap… I was a winner with my partner in an actual tournament!

To get there we had to beat 2 pairs which we have played probably 6-8 times this season in the league, but never beaten, but this time we managed to get the better of them both.

Once the insurance sorts out some money for my wife righting off my car, I’ll be getting signed up for the video coaching to keep learning and hopefully keep improving!

Mixed doubles handicapped is the last event of this tournament, and is on Saturday, I am aiming to at least get out of my group… but with a win under my belt I shudder to think what the handicap might be!

Good luck and I look forward to you posting your results.

This postconfirms the importance of good movement.
