Hi All,

I’ve just being told that there are heavy and fast shots. Anyone have any tips on what it looked like and how to train this heavy shot?

I think i have an idea, but i didn’t see this written anywhere on the net.

This is one of the most interesting questions I’ve seen for a while.

Occasionally there is a difference in interpretation of these phrases. To me a heavy shot is like a smash when you are putting your full bodyweight behind the shot. A fast shot will be a snap of the wrist type shot. This could be a stick smash versus full smash which the shuttle travels fast but doesn’t travel the same distance.

Is that clear enough?

Paul
