Credit to you Phil for pushing through all the pain and then reporting to us.
We're with you all the way…albeit from the safety of our armchair, feeling fat, unfit and still knackered.

Day 34 – Max Cardio Conditioning (47 mins) – Friday 13th September
This wasnt as bad as what I thought it would be but some parts were still very hard like doing suicide drills and all these standing/push up type drills. Some in the video were stopping at the start cause some of the exercises really burn the legs!
Glad its over though as I woke up quite tired due to late night. will be getting earlier night tonight. Recovery tomorrow which is helpful. Looking forward to it. I could use it. Felt very tight last night

Day 35 – Max Recovery (47 mins) – Saturday 14th September
No cardio today but lot of poses and deep muscle work especially burners on the quads, shoulders and core so some of it was hard & I had to take a rest at points.
Didnt push it too much as 1st week of this new schedule and usually Saturday is my rest day.
Good luck to all the advanced players at Pauls coaching weekend, right now you are all probably all on your way to the best badminton weekend ul ever get. Wish I was there. I just have work lol

Day 36 – Max Interval Circuit (59 mins) – Sunday 15th September
My goodness, this was unreal tough. the 1st set is tough and the last set has those darn full body drills which just wreck you and then plank punchs right after to really make your core work when your wrecked.
Glad its over and happy I pushed. Last time I did Insanity about 1 year ago, I stopped at tomorrows workout after losing the interest to play badminton so i just stopped. This time, I will get this done, I will keep on pushing!!

I was just thinking, I wonder how far you got last time you attempted this, so good to know. You've got to at least get passed last year's mark and take it from there, keep up the good work and complete the goal. It's not far away now

I seen this yesterday Peter and I must say I really didnt want to do it today at all. Not because I was too tired or anything but because its really hard. I made sure & had early night so I woke fresh enough although hard to leave a warm bed lol
Day 37 – Max Interval Plyo (55 mins) – Monday 16th September
This was the toughest workout so far. I really struggled a lot with this one, almost quit but I kept pushing. I have gotten past my last mark last time. Think it was a mental block because I really did struggle.
Tomorrow is REST DAY so happy days. Got 2 hours of badminton tonight. I didnt get last week with work etc so excited to play!!

Day 38 – REST – Tuesday
Had A badminton meeting for almost 2hours at night and then played for an hour but didnt play well probably because of all the sitting from meeting and I wasnt home and in bed til 12pm. Early rise at 6.30am to workout in morn time
Day 39 – Max Cardio Conditioning (47 mins) – Wednesday 18th September
Up I got today. Almost tempted to have a rest day but once I was up I was fine tired wise. Today was 1 of the worse workouts ive had. Last time I did this, I breezed through most of it but my motivation just wasnt there today. I just wanted to quit from the very start. I found a lot of exercises difficult where before it was easy and I just found it very hard to keep pushing on where before I was able to.
Im hoping this lack of motivation goes away soon because I am struggling big time and I want to keep going to the end of Insanity atleast to say I did the full thing! Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Hopefully an early night will help also

Day 41 – Max Interval Sports Training (54 mins) – Friday 20th September
This was a new one and different. More breaks which is always a bonus but longer time spent doing an exercise up to 2 minutes at 1 point. I found it easier but more fun. All sport inspired moves some of which burned the legs!!
Pulled my left ab a bit when doing sprints for a minute. but was able to carry on and it went away. lucky enough this was at the end.
Recovery tomoro. Looking forward to it!!
