Day 30 – Core Cardio & Balance (37 mins) – Monday 9th September

Recovery workout with a few to burn the muscles a but cardio wise, quite easy. Only small amount of cardio. Hip flexor burners I had to stop where yesterday I was fine. Able to finish shoulder burners!

1 more day of this and then we start the MAX workouts! excited but scared at same time

Phil, are you OK????

No post today so far, just hoping you haven't had an injury and have instead just not had time to post on here Smile

Hope the workouts are going OK, it must be tough getting up and doing them, as well as the actual workout itself.

Good work, keep it up Smile

Day 31 – Core Cardio & Balance (37 mins) – Tuesday 10th September

Took this 1 a bit easier as normally you would have a rest day before the max workouts.

Tomorrow will be even more taxing as it begins with a fit test which lasts about 25 mins or so and then MAX workout.

I shall see you all in the morning time just after am wrecked lol 🙂

Day 32 – Fit Test & Max Interval Circuit (125 mins) – Wednesday 11th September

That was horrible!! So wrecked during it. Improved on all my fit test numbers by a total of 46 reps for the whole routine. There isnt much left to give as its only the last few I am bit slower on but getting faster and stronger.

This wrecked me for the Max Interval which is 59 mins long! about another 20 mins more than month 1 exercises. And it starts off with the hardest 1s from the previous month so this is a very tough workout. Sort of burned out a bit at the end but pushed on through. Glad  got it done!

To play badminton tonight or not? That is the question!

Don,t over do it Phil.

Remember that rest and recovery are fundamentals of any training regime. I'm sure that like most of us you enjoy competition and find it difficult not to play your best. Beware, this is when the damage is done to muscles and ligaments that have been stretched and broken down by vigorous exercise and are in recovery mode.

As always well done and good luck.

Thanks Roger, thankfully work came to my rescue and I have to work late so no badminton. Glad I didnt lie in this morning as I was tempted to workout tonight.

Ive upped my calorie intake also as workouts longer so it sustains me. My current diet is working so just adding a small amount to this.

Just need to keep pushing play. Keep on posting guys! Its keeping me motivated. Its very tempting to quit. Especially now when its so hard but I just can't. I refuse to give up. I must keep going. I want to be super fit and ripped!!

Thanks Peter, id say Id have a fair few shouting at me lol

Day 33 – Max Interval Plyo (55 mins) – Thursday 12th September

Felt fine after all that working out yesterday. Thought today will be easy enough as its good 30 minutes less but I was wrong!! Just as hard!! The Workouts are the most horrible exercises to grind you down to exhaustion. At the end, I couldnt do anymore push ups, so I shifted to knee push ups and even then I burned out on those!!

Def crazy workouts and am glad its over for today! I just cant describe how hard it is. Everything in your body is shouting stop and lots of times, you physically cant go on so you need small break.

Credit to you Phil for pushing through all the pain and then reporting to us.

We're with you all the way…albeit from the safety of our armchair, feeling fat, unfit and still knackered.
