Hi again guys, havent been here for some time =D

got 2 new VT80s 2 weeks ago,I'm estatic !!

Just finished learning the pronation..but haven't got used to it (yet).Need to ask you paul, would you recommend the pronation technique or the wrist flick which is common with the ppl i play with?

i think some of main differences between the pronation and wrist flick are that the pronation gives better power, but the normal stroke allows the player to get away with slower footwork and poorer hitting angle. i also noticed those pro players using the pronation method for smashing.

ThanksSmile

The best technique is by using pronation. Being lazy and not moving into the correct position only means the player limits the returns they can play. It’s a bad habit and one I’d rather you avoided at all costs. Correct technique consistently applied will prove it’s worth for years, so stick with it.

Pro players try to main good form even in the tighest of situations as they understand any deviation could lead to a loose shot which will be severely punished. They just can’t afford sloppy or lazy technique.
