When I reported about my tournament performance in the first two tournaments Paul asked what had changed that led to the improver result in the second tournament that had led to an improved performance?
My immediate answer was that I had trained hard and was overall a better player. But when I reanalised the games I noticed that in the first game I got into rallies but was unable to finish them off. This led to frustration and eventually my poor performance.
Has anyone else suffered from this? And how to play on a day where your smashes are just not good enough?
