Hello, I am a doubles player looking at upgrading my racket. Currently, I switch between a nanospeed 9900, nanoray 800, and arcsaber 10 depending on how I feel.
My father recently bought an ArcSaber 11 for himself and upon trying it out I liked the feel both in the flat game and for smashes.
I generally prefer to control the net and get the lift while playing and often get compliments about how quick I am around the net. Defensively, I like to counterattack the smash if given the chance and find smash return control very important. A weak area of my game are my smashes which I would prefer to be harder.
I do not have any means of trying out a bravesword 12 but from paul's review it looks quite similar to the arc 11.
Can someone describe the differences between the rackets when playing and/or recommend a racket to me?
Thanks
PS: I find that the bravesword 12 is substantially cheaper than the arcsaber 11 where I am which is a factor as I will probably buy multiple rackets.

Rake
BS12 will have a faster swing and is more flexible than Arc11. You may find Arc 11 has a slightly more solid hit due to the box construction compared to the sword shape of BS12 which gives it speed.
Unless you like stiff rackets, I'd definitely go with BS12. It is quicker in attack and defence, is a very strong frame taking extremely high tensions and overall a great racket.
Arc 11 is a very good racket, a solid performer and a worthy successor to Arc 10. Some players will undoubtedly prefer Yonex over Victor and that is fine. Some will prefer the slightly slower frame because it has a more solid feel.
The choice has to be yours Rake as both rackets will do a great job if they suit your game. From memory, players using BS12 have won more tournaments than those using Arc 11.
Please let us know which you choose.

Hello Paul, thanks for your speedy reply!
I have decided to step out of my Yonex comfort zone and get a BS12, if I like the feel I will purchase more for backup rackets. Thanks for explaining the differences of the rackets, the quickness of the BS12 on attack and defense is alluring to me.
Thanks again

Hi Rake,
Hope you enjoy the BS12. I use an ARC11 and absolutely love it – especially re-gripped and strung to a higher tension. Having said that, I am looking to get a BS12 too as I think the Victor racquets are great value; having both in my bag (along with my other racquets) will give me lots of options.
Enjoy!
Regards
John
