Hi all,
I've seen some stuff about a British brand called customworqs, the prices were pretty expensive but they offered to produce a fully customisable racket. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I had a look around the internet but couldn't find anything concrete on what the general consensus is, or if many people have tried/ are using them.
thanks

My friend Mark and I sat at the computer and ordered one a while ago. The process is a little tricky and you really have to understand the characteristics of your ideal racket.
The racket was delivered on time with very good packaging. Along with the racket, Customworqs include a stencil but it could do with a little more strength. It's a bit flimsy due to the design of the logo.
Aside from that, the racket plays really well. It's very well made and has quickly become Marks favourite racket which has resulted in his 8DX being related to his racket bag for the evening. Mark has really fallen in love with the racket and claims it's the best he's ever played with. Bearing in mind he undertakes a lot of testing with me, that's a big statement to make.
I've also tested a bag load of different spec Customworgs rackets for a retailer. Each racket played very differently according to the spec. All were extremely good quality.
I appreciate the custom idea isn't going to suit everyone, and then there's the added pressure of getting the spec right from day 1. However, if you really know what you like, ordering your customised version is the first step to finding your ultimate racket.

I've just 'built' a racket on their website and it was quoted at ~£125. Thats less money than a top end Yonex and you get a fully customised racket. I thought expensive was going to mean over £200!
I have to say I'd be very tempted by this, the only stumbling block being getting the spec right first time as Paul said….
