Today I've tested another racquet – Yonex Nanoray 10
and I like it. Specification says it's head light, but I felt that I can smash harder with it than with VT5
however this site says it's head heavy…. http://www.directbadminton.co……ctID=11903
so what's wrong with these all specifications and with my feelings ?
Is it a head light or head heavy? (nanoray 10)

Hi razor
Can i just ask…why do you worry so much about the specs?? It sounds as though you have been lucky enough to be able to try and test out a racket which you like and could use. Does it really matter what the specs say? Use what you feel comfortable with and enjoy and if at a price you can afford…nothing else matters.
Just my 2p worth….

I’m trying to understand what type of racquet I need (I’m a tech person 😉 )
So future testing will be easier.
No I’m wondering if I should buy babolat x-feel blast (which has a good price in one shop), but I’m afraid that it will not suit me (3u and stiff)
So maybe I will buy a cheap Yonex Nanoray 10 for now (which was not bad)

the difficulty with looking purley at specifications is that players requirements change as they progress. So, what suits you now may soon have a sell by date.
Specs should only be used as a guide. Also, remember that different manufacturers may have variances on specs. I've seen and played with lots of racket with a medium stiff shaft and slightly head heavy and can attest that they all play and feel different. Soe careful because it's easy to be caught out.
Bottom line, you buy racket on how it feels.
