anyone come across this very new model from Victor? feature=player_embedded

I have not found review regarding this Spira21 just yet. I am still considering which to purchase either Victor Spira 21, Gosen Ryoga Tenbu/Issen, or RSL laser 9900.

I like head-heavy racket with the feel like Kumpoo PowerShot 2300 Hexagon (one that Bonsaak Ponsana uses)

Please give your suggestion.

Thank you.

I haven’t seen Spira 21 yet but will be getting a demo when it arrives in UK. I can also tell you that Victor is releasing another Bravesword, especially for ladies. Release date for this and Spira 21 is July/August in UK.

The Spira 21 is a stiff racquet. How it will compare to other models in their range is difficult to say.

I’ll release my review as soon as I can get test the racquet.

A Victor for ladies ? Like Yonex did with the Arc Saber 9 ? Sounds pretty fun as I’ve seen a guy using an Arc Saber 9 as main racket despite the fact that is pink which looks girlish haha. But he’s been the only one.

So hope this Bravesword has a colour scheme that won’t disgust most of the guys as I may be interested in it. (Yeah I know it’s not good to buy racket after racket but I’m just informing myself for later * little angel * Surprised haha)

The racquet is due in Europe around July, so I may have one to review mid-late July along with spira 21.

Hi Paul,

Did you manage to test the new spira 21 or the new BS you were talking about?

I've seen pictures of the new BS for girls, the BS 169, it looks quite nice with a purple scheme but I would prefer the AS9 of Yonex even if it's pink (If only it has another colour scheme, I would have buy it CryCry)

There's also a “boy” version, the BS 168. The colour scheme is different as are the features. The 168 looks horrible to me compared to other rackets of Victor and it looks like it is a “cheap” version of the BS range.

Jonathan

I’ve not seen BS168. Have you got a link or picture? From what I know, BS168 is not being introduced in UK and Europe.

Spira 21 review is now live on my blog. There is a Spira 22 which was only just introduced in Asia so it may be some time before we hear more about this racquet.

I have tested BS169 and will review it on my blog this Friday. It’s a superb racquet.

On badmintoncentral, I think there's a thread about that racket.

Wow, Victor is producing a lot of rackets here. I can't wait to see what the Spira 22 look like.

Paul, do you think the Spira 21 is similar to AR 600 ?

Jonathan

Both are certainly good all rounder racquets, so you may have a point.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen to Armortec series. I have a feeling Yonex are going to slowly withdraw the range beginning with 900’s very soon. i hope I’m wrong, however, they have to make way for new technology that I’m sure will be just around the corner.
