This site has the VT7 and VT5 on it, don't know how accurate thier descriptions are but the 70/80 look about right.

one of the best online badminton stores that always have the latest and greatest http://www.badmintonalley.com. I will monitor their site to see if voltric 5/7 is out. their physical store is also very well-stocked, supposedly one of the largest in U.S. I lived only a few blocks away so I am spoiled in terms of ease of getting baddy equipments. I have also placed an order for the latest Victor MX80, supposedly of equal caliber to Voltric 80. Can't wait to test it out!

Last night I unleashed the Voltric 80 in anger the first time in a match, & all I can say it’s a killing machine with an excellent touch. Although been using the Voltric 70 the rest of the week, I turned to the 80 after losing the 1st game due to a cheat & me losing control. But we won the next to well 21 – 11 21 – 8
The racket is truly an amazing racket.

I will second that dobbie 🙂
I have frequently unleashed an almighty VT80 smash since getting back, particularly in singles (which I play most) and I am satisfied that all returns are weak ones 🙂 The power is good, but it feels like the shuttle is going EXACTLY where I am putting it. Power is nice, but the control is phenominal. And I can defend easily too 🙂
I will stop now…

I’m Voltric 80less at the moment as I had to give mine back to my retailer.
I have to wait until August to know whether I’ll get the VT80 in my sponsorship deal.
But, I stand by my review 100% – it’s an amazing racquet. Truly great power, superb placement and super-quick.
I’m now testing Voltric 5. I tested Voltric 7 last week and will be publishing my review this week.

Whilst I’ve published a racquet chart in the past, I don’t put much credance to them. After all, I’ve said so many times that racquet choice is personal. That being so, then a racquet perceived as a singles players racquet may just suit you for doubles. So, you can never rely on a chart when selecting a racquet.

Well, the cry for objective data has been posted on this forum several times (read this forum, yonex). A chart can only point you into some direction, like if you're looking for head light racket, don't start with an AT700. And it shows you the NS2000 is lighter than the NS6600 (howmuch is unknown sadly). But that means you already have an idea what you're looking for. So a chart is no more than a quick help.
I wouldn't trust any chart that makes a distinction between singles and doubles rackets, even if it was a Yonex chart. The racket doesnt know what discipline you play.
All the best, ED

“Lies, Damn Lies and statistics”
The younger guys may not get that.
The charts are ok as a guideline but no replacement for actually playing with the racket.
I think it's been referred to somewhere else but I think the biggest problem is the lack of conformity between manufacturers when it comes to balance and stiffness.
Apparently there's a formula to calculate the stiffness of rackets but it's outragously complicated and still has people arguing about the results.
