Hello everyone,
first i want to start with the fact that i hate yonex, because of there high price.
i play mostly with Apacs rackets and Zelm racket (powerplay10000)
yesterday i bought it for 50$ strung with BG65.
and in the semi-finals, we were playing verses the 1st ranked pair…or in other words easy game to them…
so why not to try the new racket?
any way just want to say that we won (!) 21-19, 21-19 astonishing game…not like the game before this one(that was awful)
anyway this racket amazed me…the feel was fantastic! the samash power was good+ (to as good as AT700 or AT900P) but it was good enough.
it is very solid racket. very sharp shots as well it can produce very genital shots when necessary but its is bit slow compere to my apacs nano9900 (nanospeed9900 clone)
here is the final score i give this racket:
Power:7.5/10
control:8.5/10
feel:9.5/10 (Apacs Tantrum 200 still better)
maneuverability:7/10
for 50$ racket? that’s just awesome
maybe someone else tried this racket before?

Hi Dory
Congratulations on your win! Helping players win more points was the sole reason for building my blog. well done!
I’ve never tested an Apacs racket as they aren’t very popular in UK and availability is questionable, although I really haven’t looked to hard. It’s such a shame that this brand cannot make a racket without copying Yonex, even in name. It just shows how much Yonex is revered that they have to copy. And let’s be honest, it’s not an original.
But, that doesn’t mean Apacs can’t make good rackets. It’s just disappointing they do not try to set themselves apart from other brands. Being known as the me too, but cheaper brand is not the best way to sell rackets. They can do better than that.
Thanks for the review on the racket. I’m so pleased it worked for you and got you a result. I see you don’t hate Yonex too much, otherwise you wouldn’t be using their string. And I guess, if they offered you sponsorship, you wouldn’t turn it down?
Keep up the good work Dory. I know you’re working hard on your game and I’m looking forward to watching the video of your doubles, especially checking out your new backhand.

Hi Paul,
Thank you,
About Apacs, thy are quiet popular on the UK thy have one big company (that i ordered from them several times)
that sells Apacs rackets.
and about the name copy…its very simple; there is no badminton player that don’t know what is Yonex.
when thy copy racket thy only copy the exterior of the racket….and sometime the names seems to be almost the same. (like Arcsaber 10 and Edgesaber 10)
and yeah if yonex offers me sponsorship (witch meant free rackets) im 200% sure i would not torn it down.
anyway…this stupid Youtube dont allow me to upload videos bigger then 10 minuets…
so i have to wait another 5 hours for uploading big shorter video…
btw here is the Apacs site:
