Last clubnight, my strings were gone, and I had no spare. So I borrowed the spare of my opponent: a Yonex Isometric VF30. Never seen before, probably rather old, it felt quite head heavy (more than my VT7, and less tension), and I didn’t expect to play well with it. I was a bit surprised I did. Guess what: I won. I’ve beaten him with his own tools Laugh. What I would like to know: where could I find specs of this racket? Dr Google didn’t help me much.
Thanks in advance, ED

Your right that there is very little info on line.
From what I can gather it is quite an old racket of graphite / aluminum construction. I think the Yonex Muscle Power range is going to be the closest match.
Here for specs: http://www.yonex.com/products/…..e-power-7/

Hope this helps
Roger

Yes the Isometric range was the first to use the isometric head shape. VF30 was in the budget end of the range and therefore specs were flexible or medium flex shaft, aluminium head.

It could be that the string tension was low and allowed you to hit the shuttle and producr more power.

I would have thought the closest to this racket in the higher spec ranges would be Arcsaber.

Thanks for the feedback! I got myself a brand new spare that came close to the feedback and to the budget I wanted to spend: VT50. For only €105, extra grip and 11kg of BG65Ti. Bam, love it.
Cheers, ED
