Hi there, I am just requesting a bit more information on this racket, hopefully from someone who has used it!

In the uk, its on sale for around 60 pounds (down from 100) which is brilliant value for money.

I have read pauls review regarding vibrations, and also wasn't as strong contender to the Voltric 7. However, I do prefer stiffer rackets. infact I am looking to replace my old muscle power 100.

I play mostly mens doubles, and is more of a smash/ aggressive player.

is there any other rackets around this price range which i can also look at?

Thanks in advance

joe

Hi Joe,

Sorry, not used the Voltric 9 – but I am sure someone on here will have used it. Usual advice is to find someone who has one and borrow it!! Reading all the reviews in the world will not make up for actual court time.

Anyhow, welcome to the forum!

Regards

John

The reason VT9 may be selling at such an advantageous price is that I hear there is going to be a new model, although cannot recall the full name.

It can be tough finding a new racket at a price point with certain specs. As I see it there is nothing else in Yonex range if you require head heavy, stiff flex. It's probably best to look elsewhere at other manufacturers such as Ashaway, Forza, APACS. I seem to recall Slayer 99 could fit the bill which is made by APACS.
