Firstly, I cant stop passing my appreciation and admiration for such a wonderful site which helps many badminton players and avid followers.

Well, I am a member of your site but not able to start a discussion forum and hence sending this mail.

I started playing badminton 2 years back and I play reasonably OK. Good at tosses and average at smashes. My drawback is my backhand though which I am trying to improve. I am 40 years old but I feel that age should not be a factor if the passion is there. My game improved a little bit in the last few months.

I used Arcsaber 2 & 3 sometime ago and now playing with Ashaway Nano Legend 9675. It is reasonably good.

Now, I am planning to go for a raquet and I am confused which one to pick. I read good reviews on Voltric 7 & AS 7. Since my style is tosses and smashes (not very strong smashes though), please suggest which one I should pick among VT 7 & AS 7. Or, is there anything better than these 2 ?

Thank you in advance,
Satish.

Hi Satish

I know what smashes are but what are tosses? Do you mean drop shots? Have a read of my article on choosing a racket as it will help you.

Hi Paul,

I am sorry for my layman language. By Tosses, I mean the backline Hits.
