Not sure how relevant this is but a friend of mine plays Veterans tournaments regularly and he told me that every shuttle is tested before the competition starts.

I guess it's so you have uniformity but I'd like “shuttle tester” as a job title.

To be fair, “Cock, Knocker” wouldn't be so cool

Hmmmm, what better way to start a league match than ask the opposition, “which one of you is the cock knocker?”

The match might start a bit frosty!

I use Yehlex shuttles, the Yellow tube, and they are the bee's knees in my opinion. But it depends on how easy it is to get what ever shuttles for you, as some times when you run out you need a quick delivery!
