Only when it is very clear, I make a remark. But I only had to do so once. I wasn't playing, it was my teammate's singles game. His opponent was serving clearly above his waste.

If you watch matches on the tube at the top level, there are a few players well known for serving against the rules (all of them in XD and MD), yet it is hard to find a service judge who calls a fault. I must admit too, I think it is very difficult to see. I think the service judge is watching the one who serves, while the judge watches the one who receive serve ?

Anyway, a pitty, and a bit of a shame too. The only ones to blame are the trainers and coaches, is my opinion.

All the best, ED

There seems to be a major problem deciding where the players waist is. I don’t know how the badminton world an get around this issue but I agree there are a lot of players who bend the service rule and get away with it.

How about designing a shirt with a big black line across the waist and making everyone wear one!

Or you have to have a shirt made so the line in on your waist. Although, wouldn't be long before someone found a loop hole in that idea! Laugh

With so many shapes and sizes that would be a nightmare and extremely expensive too.

Anyway Peter don’t you know that horizontal stripes can make you look fat?
