I’m playing for u16 county level. I can play all shot to a pretty decent standard but the thing take ruins my game is that I tend to let the shuttle come to me or stand my ground and try get the shuttle and miss it. I know if I take a step I’ll get it but I just seem to be not doing that in my matches. I think that is a common error for taller play I’m 185cm. Is there any drills or ways I can change this.

Where on court is this a problem? Is it when you're hitting from the rear court or from the net area? How about giving us a few scenarios which will then tell us more.
It's not uncommon for tall players to rely on their reach rather than movement, especially at a young age when suddenly, all of those shuttles you've previously chased are within easy reach.
Young growing bodies also use a huge amount of energy and therefore it could be that you're not getting sufficient rest before going on court. You could be doing too many activities in the week and not having sufficient recovery time.

The scenario you describe in mixed doubles is common.
You can do a lot of shadow movement to build up a faster and more efficient pattern and then ask another player to feed you from the serve so that you can practice with a shuttle.
I would also recommend you learn how to skip as this is great for building faster feet, but make sure you skip on a soft surface and with good, well-supported shoes to reduce the possibility of shin splints.
There is a lot more you can do, but for now you have sufficient to help you overcome this problem.
