Hey there, my name is Winston. been reading Paul's excellent blog since the beginning and really enjoyed his indepth articles as well as great coverage of important badminton topics. I have been playing badminton since I was 5 but unfortunately never evolved out of backyard/outdoor recreational scenes. I used to have a really hard time gauging my skills since on a good day, my smash was devastating with the wind behind me. haha. I started picking up badminton seriously about two years ago by visiting “real” badminton gyms and playing “real” games. People are always happy and bragging about beating me since I was supposedly the most experienced one with decades of playing 🙂 I am currently now a low-intermediate player(being generous) and hoping to enjoy the game more by playing more and learning more. I get a lot from the discussion posts and really enjoyed some of the topics posted. I hope I can contribute in some way to the forum as wel.

Thanks!

Winston
