Hello everyone,

I am a 19-year-old (almost 20) badminton player from Belgium. I started playing when I was 11 years old, but had to stop playing for 1,5 year due to medical problems. I started playing again approximately 3 years ago.
I am an intermediate player who is still improving (mainly because of the advice that the older players at my club give me).
I play twice a week with both plastic and feather shuttles. Since last year, I also play in a regional competition (with feather shuttles of course). I play singles, doubles and mixed doubles.

Hi Belgian

Welcome to my forum. I receive a number of emails or forum posts from players in Belgium.

Please feel free to ask questions and respond to posts. The more opinion we get on the forum the better. This helps me gauge understanding and hopefully I can add content to the discussions that will help everybody.

Paul

I think he means Paul, that as badminton isn’t so popular in Belgium, then in theory it would be easier to become a state/county player Smile
