Hi,

My name is Ben and I play badminton in Brighton & Hove, Sussex.

I am shopping for a new racket and I have found this site really useful for new ideas, especially looking outside of Yonex and thinking about other brands – particularly Victor.

The hardest thing is buying a racket you can't try first, so you have to rely on reviews.

Thx Paul, great site!

Ben

Hi Ben

If you ask around, most players will lend you a racquet to test, even if it's just for a knock up. It may be enough to give you a good feel for the racquet and test a few shots out. It's certainly better than swishing a racquet in a shop where you can't feel the impact of the shuttle.

There are one or two shops that will have demo racquets. The best thing is to contact the manufacturer and ask the sales team who they know in your area orders demo racquets.

Paul
