One of the most common frustrations I hear from ladies in badminton mixed doubles is that a change in partner often results in being asked to stand on a different place on court, when the man is serving. This creates confusion. Furthermore, it is often the case that the lady is situated on the wrong side of the court and is expected to cover simple net returns from her opponent, which she either cannot reach or barely reaches and is unable to play a good return.
This video highlights the logic behind the positioning of the lady on court and provides a correct, albeit controversial response to this positioning question.
